After School Care

ABC (Activity Based Care) play scheme

We acknowledge that children work hard at school and need time to chill and relax, but to also ensure that their homework is done, so that when they are collected by their parents they can spend some quality time with them. We collect from most schools in the Hastings and St Leonards Area, both for part time children requiring collection at 12noon and for full time children requiring collection at the end of their school day. With a large room arranged into natural zones for free movement for the children to relax and socialize after a hard day at school. The club takes a maximum of 26 full care children and 22 drop in at any one session, ensuring the ratio of one adult to every 8 children who are under the full care contract.

Full care

Your child is under full supervision on a 1:8 ratio, with full use of the clubs facilities and outdoor area plus trips during the holidays. Included in the price is collection from your child’s school.

Meals and snacks

After school: A light tea such as beans on toast, cauliflower cheese etc is offered at around 4.30pm. There is access to drinking water at all times, plus a snack shop.

Holiday club: Toast is served for breakfast with chocolate spread or just butter. Lunch consists of a main meal and pudding and a light tea is served at 4.30pm. Water is available throughout the day and a snack shop runs twice a day.

Activities on offer

Play station, computers, books, board games, ball games, soft play, garden area, trips, table tennis, football table, chill out zone, snack shop, music, art and crafts, team games, construction, homework, sand pit, T.V and DVD , chess, and much more.

Home work

We do our utmost to encourage your child to complete their homework whist at the club. We do also have a computer with internet access if required.

Registration fee

There is a non-refundable registration fee of £20 and is payable for either scheme
