Hi, Great to see you all back safely, and hope you all had a good break.
Well we have been busy over Christmas!
the baby and toddler rooms floors have been sanded and re-varnished, and so has the corridoor. In addition to this the reception area has been fully re-decorated, and the entrace doors have changed to a slightly lighter blue. We have also had the baby room and toddler room fully re-decorated and re-furbished. It looks like a brand new nursery!
All the pictures on the site are of the new re-furbished areas.
Now that we are reaching the end of the festive season, we would like to launch our annual appeals:
Un-wanted toys: Yes please, we use a majority of these to give as sponserships to local organisations such as the A & E department, Clinic, Doctors, and Dentists waiting areas.
Old Christmas decorations: we use these for art and craft activities, including tinsel, cards, wrapping paper, shiny paper chains etc.
Drink cans: We still have Michael come round once a week to collect these to raise funds for the blind. Please do bring in your empty drinks cans and place them in the yellow collection bin in reception)
Junk mail?: Before you throw it into the recycling bin, please pick out the reply envelopes, as they are great for the children when they are role playing and using the emergent writing area. (please place them in the blue lid collection bin in reception)
Paper: Please start a collection box at home and work for paper that still has one blank side. As we offer free creative, mark making activities throughout the day we do go through an awlful lot of paper, so lets all help the environment, and enable us to use the other side of the sheet before it gets recycled! (please place in blue bin in reception)

Hi, I’m not sure what to put here, but I am already collecting paper for the nursery to use as I think it’s a brilliant idea to get the children involved in recycling at this early age.
The nursery looks fab now the refurb has been done and I know my little one really enjoys playing there.
I can’t believe that we have now hit spring and would love to get involved with the nursery over the next few months as then my one leaves to start reception at “big school” - she is going to be gutted that she has to leave ABC.
Hear’s to a fantastic summer!
